General Information About Our GSGV Summer Programs:
Trading Post
The Trading Post is the camp store and will be open during Pinewood resident and weekend camp and Piperwood day camp. Items for sale typically include: t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, mess kits, toiletries, water bottles and more. Hours will be posted during each camp session.

Health Forms
Health forms MUST be returned to 1020 John Street at least three weeks before a girl attends camp. New York State
Department of Health requires a completed health form and current immunization record to be on file for each girl in camp. No health forms are required for programs at Oak Orchard.

Medication
Girls who require prescription or over-the-counter medication while at camp must fill out a medication form and return it with their health form. These forms must be signed by the girl’s physician. No medication will be administered without these forms. All medication must be labeled and in its original containers. All medication (with the exception of inhalers and epi pens) must be given to the health care provider while at camp. All over the counter medications to be administered must be provided to the health care provider upon arrival at camp.

Confirmation Packets
After your daughter is registered for camp, you will receive a confirmation packet in the mail that will include directions to camp, a packing list, check-in and check-out time, what to expect while at camp, how to send mail and packages and a health form that must be returned at least three weeks before a girl attends camp.

Registering For A Summer Camp Program...
Girl Scouts of Genesee Valley Camps welcomes all girls to join us for summer fun! Non-Girl Scouts are welcome and will be asked to complete an additional registration form accompanied by a $10 fee to attend. Registration deadlines differ for each program. See the Registration form for all deadlines.  Return the enclosed application form with a $35, non-refundable, deposit for each camp session desired.  If you are applying for financial aid, then a $10 non-refundable deposit for each session must be sent with both the financial aid and camp applications. Please remember to number your program choices in order of preference. If your daughter cannot be placed in a program, the events registrar will call you to discuss other program options.  Balances are due to the Girl Scouts of Genesee Valley office no later than three weeks before your daughter attends camp.

Programs must have a minimum of eight participants to run.  If your daughter’s program does not meet the minimum, you will be contacted to discuss alternate program options.  Mail your complete application and deposit to:
Girl Scouts of Genesee Valley
Attention: Events Registrar
1020 John Street
West Henrietta, NY 14586
You may also bring your application and deposit to the Program Center at the above address. Walk-in registrations can not be accepted at the camps.  If you are registering more than one daughter, please send separate registrations for each girl.
